If you’re looking for a reliable oil company, Buxton is not it. Every time we’ve ordered oil they never show up in a set time frame so it’s a guess on when they’ll actually show up vs when they say they’ll show up. And if you run out because they don’t show up for over a week after ordering, they don’t do emergency deliveries, unless you’re on auto delivery. They also outsource emergency deliveries to an HVAC company. We found ourselves a much more reliable company and will never use Buxton again.
I will be finding a new oil delivery company and I strongly recommend that anyone looking for an oil company not to use Buxton. Was a previous customer of Rockingham Oil on auto delivery with no issues. Just this year while still being on auto-delivery I have ran out of oil twice consecutively. Once on New Years Day and once just tonight 3/3/2025. Called the emergency number on New Years for a delivery. While on the phone with Buxton I checked when my last delivery was prior to New Years. We have been customers of Buxton for at least 25 years and have always been happy with their service . Their drivers are friendly and considerate and they always show up when they say they will be there.
