We had dinner at Buxton Hall this evening. The bbq was awesome, as was our waitress. Definitely recommend them.
Delicious menu. Outstanding BBQ with great sides. Try the Green Beans and Watermelon w/Dry Rub. I will definitely be back.

Great place for Eastern style barbecue. They have the cook down and the sauces are just right. Here, the hero is the meat. The sauces are there to compliment and they do that well (unlike tx barbecue where the sauces usually overpower the meat) Overall, great eastern style whole-hog barbecue served in a great atmosphere!
We enjoyed our food. Music too loud!
Food when we went was great. Vinegar is the basis of Eastern NC sauces, but they do have tomato-based Western NC alternatives.
