Steer clear of Butzirus. They seemed like a friendly, family run business but they totally screwed me over. After I moved out, they held my deposit for 5 months without returning phone calls or letters and then blamed me for damages I never caused including construction debris they had stored in my closet and damage to walls present when I moved in. Shady, shabby, shameful. My 2+ years of on-time rent payments and responsible care of my unit was rewarded with a slap in the face: they held my deposit for months (without responding to phone calls or letters) until I threatened legal action, and then tried to blame me for damages I hadn't caused. DO NOT RENT FROM THESE PEOPLE! As stated by someone else before, if I could give less than one star I would. I do not trust these men and I do not respect them. My lease ends at the end of this month and since I've already paid my rent they are ignoring my phone calls and just waiting for me to move! My bathroom sink has not been working for 3 weeks now and they have straight up ignored me - left multiple messages and they just never respond. They took my money and then treated me like scum. I'd give lower than one star if I could. We lived in a Butzirus property for over three years. At first, they bent over backwards to accommodate us. But as time went on, we were ignored. Unless we refused to pay rent until the problem was solved, like, say, the bathroom ceiling falling in and the toilet caving in to the basement. STAY AWAY!!!! ABSOLUTELY THE WORST PEOPLE TO RENT FROM!!! STAY AWAY! I rented from them and our bathroom floor was caving in and it took them over 3 months to respond... even return my calls! We had termites crawling out of our walls in the bedroom and it took them over a month to even stop to look at it, and 2 more weeks to use a can of bug spray (they didn't even call a professional). Poor quality apartments and terrible landlords.
