RecommendedOn our way home to San Antonio, decided to try Butter’s BBQ. Have to say, best decision to try to race there and get some brisket, before they ran out. Truly delicious, great tasting brisket. Sides were a perfect compliment to the brisket. Highly recommend.
Made it out to the Corpus Christi area for the holiday weekend (4th of July). Made the short drive to Mathis, TX. Got the pleasure of having lunch at Andrew Soto's place Butter's BBQ. Texas Monthly's top 25 Best BBQ. I can easily see why it's top 25! Everything was delicious. The beef rib was easily the biggest one I've been served. Please like his page Butter's BBQ on Facebook.
There amazing customer service and bbq is well worth the drive.

Besides the HUGE Beef Ribs, I had never tried the beans, the taste was (outstanding)
Myself and the wife stopped in early this past Sunday and talked about this the rest of our trip home! we've had most bbq between Dallas,Austin, and Houston. This was some of the best. I would fight over the barbacoa with those tortillas and pico so fresh I thought it was still in the garden. The brisket melted in our mouth before we even got close to the sauce.
