I am a real estate agent and I have represented buyers who have hired Merrill Johnson and he has done an excellent inspections. Merrill is vary professional and saved my buyers thousands by bringing issues to the buyers attention. The buyers were able to make an educated decision and negotiate any repairs that were needed. Vary good inspector.
This inspection service was commissioned by a buyer who was not able to attend the inspection of my house, and when doing the inspection did not take any pictures of what they were observing along with the written report. Which in turn made it difficult for the buyer to determine whether the house was a fit for them. I would suggest if you want to use their services to make sure they have pictures included in the report.
