Beautiful, cozy cottage. Perfect for a little get-away trip for our family. The cottage was charming, cute, very clean, and Dave and Kate have all the essentials you need. From the cottage, you are only a brief walk to a beautiful, private beach. Thanks, Kate & Dave, for letting us stay.
This was our second stay at Buttercup Cottage and it was a phenomenal long weekend stay to celebrate my birthday with my best girlfriend. The house is cute, comfortable, clean, and stocked with everything we needed and more. We spent a day on the beach at the end of the street (picture attached) and loved sitting on the quiet patio at the house in the evening talking and laughing. The Buttercup is the perfect location for all outdoor activities especially bicycling as it’s a short Drive to the Western Reserve Greenway. We did the entire length in two segments that matched our stay at Buttercup. The Geneva State park was our morning walk before bicycle riding. We saw two eagles and countless other birds. The Underground Railroad Museum is a very interesting place but you need to go on the weekends. We’re planning another trip for next year as the owners are very responsive and easy to work with.
We have stayed here 3 times and it never disappoints! The hosts have thought of everything- the cottage is spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and has every amenity you could possibly want. The private beach is so close, peaceful and relaxing! The cottage is the perfect location and is close to everything! We cannot wait to book our next stay!
We had such a lovely stay at Buttercup Cottage! From the moment we walked in, it felt cozy, clean, and thoughtfully designed. The bright yellow door and cheerful decor made it feel like a true getaway, and the location between Ashtabula Harbor and Geneva-on-the-Lake was perfect.
