We visited this restaurant for the first time for their Mother’s Day lunch buffet. The place was mostly full, but we didn't have to wait for a table. They offered a wide variety of both vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes. The food itself was okay to good, though nothing really stood out. A couple of the food trays were empty, I did not go back for a 2nd plate, I just finished the first one and a couple of desserts. I am unreasonably obsessed with the paneer biryani here - super spicy. It’s the sauciest biryani I’ve ever had with so much paneer and caramelized onions. Portion lasts me three meals.
This was my second time visiting Butter Chicken for lunch. I'm far from an expert at Indian food, but the wait staff was very helpful, including the purpose for the yogurt accompanying the biryani. Both times, the food was excellent and the portions were huge for the price. Today, I tried the Chicken Dum Biryani and there was enough for 4 meals for me.
