Had a wonderful experience. Our server Justin was very professional and attentive to all ours needs. I dine in downtown Chicago a lot and Butch’s is as good if not better then Sixteen or Girl and the Goat. Great job by all the staff, keep up the good work.
I had my last “first date” at Butch’s Dry Dock 22 years ago (7/5/96). We went back yesterday to celebrate “us” (7/5/18). Another magical night with great food, friendly staff. Thanks for making us feel special!
My husband and I had our anniversary dinner here lastnight and it was absolutely WONDERFUL! We travel to this side of the state every year for our anniversary for several days. We stay at our beloved Castle in the Country and they highly recommended Butch's. Absolutely amazing and we will be back! Food was extraordinary and service was so friendly. Thank you!
The way the flavors of the dish complimented each other with just the right amount of spices was amazing.
The duck breast special tonite was not good, tough, sinewy - not recommended. The dessert black forest cake was stale. Everyone's else dinner was ok. Service was ok but not attentive. Cocktails and appetizers were good. Wine selection was good. Menu selection was limited. Hopefully an off nite. Probably wouldn't rebook. :(
Everything was excellent down to the service. We will be back!!
