This place is sketchy with the way they charge. They are also not diverse and a bit biased with people of color. I’ve noticed we have to wait “longer” whereas our white counterparts get served immediately. I am one person, why did they try to charge me $82?? Anyways, I suggest paying cash in places like this. They do “pre-authorization” charges? Idk it’s giving sketchy, though the vibe is cool here. I think it’s funny noting they’re located in the hood. They need more workers of color here, and maybe new management.
Only negative is getting there at a busy time you will have a hard time finding a table, but there’s a reason it’s busy. Once you have a spot it’s a 10/10 vibe
If you’re looking for a 70s time capsule dive you must check out Busty’s. I can’t speak much for the food, but drinks are reasonably priced and wait staff are attentive and friendly.
