I did not hesitate to have my records forwarded to Dr. Bussey for my second BC surgery. She is very informative and has always answered my questions.

I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2009. Dr Bussey saw me within 5 days and I was scheduled for the surgery within 2 weeks. Being familiar with the medical field, I had done my research and had two pages of questions for her. I was accompanied by a close friend who could help me listen and take notes and not be emotional. A few people perception's of Dr. Bussey may have been negative but the vast majority are most positive, so don't base your decision NOT to have a consultation with her on the one or two negative comments written here. I highly recommend this physician because I give her credit for saving my life. In 2006 I was diagnosed with stage III B breast ca. I was referred to Dr. Bussey after being diagnosed with breast cancer. She was very compassionate, patient, and clear in her explanations of everything. She was very careful to let my husband and I make the decisions concerning my mastectomy and not push us into something we weren't sure of. She gave the pros and cons of the various treatment plans and gave us the space and confidence to make the right choice for us. I appreciated her frankness and honesty. On top of all that, she is a wonderful surgeon!

I was very pleased with the service and attention that I received from Dr. Bussey and her staff. I have no complaints at all and will continue to use her in the future. She was able to assist me with diagnosis and choices. She made me feel very comfortable and gave me the options and recommendations.

I was treated by Dr. Bussy and I cannot believe she became angry with a patient. She was most informative and went over options with me and my husband with the greatest of patience. I had no pain after my bi-lateral mastectomy and I would send the women I love most in the world to her in a heartbeat. She has been wonderful in my follow up appointments and I so appreciate her ability and her depth of caring.

Excellent physician and very knowledgeable. She spent a good deal of time with me and with my husband. Gave me a complete discussion of my options and next steps. In response to some comments on this site, I guess she is not "touchy feely", but I am a nurse and I want someone who gives me the whole story without the sugar coating. I found her to be easy to talk to and would recommend her to anyone who is facing breast cancer and wants a good physician.

I want to comment after seeing negative remarks. This doctor is WONDERFUL! My mother's breast cancer had been overlooked for a year and when Dr. Bussey saw her and diagnosed it, she was kind and compassionate. She also saw my mother one year later free of charge when her HMO doctor wouldn't refer her for a one year check up and Dr. Bussey told her to come in and she wouldn't charge!
