It is evident in these reviews the Busboom Group fails to take care of any of their communities. I would strongly caution against living at any of their properties, especially the Drake on Summit in Fort Worth, Texas. If I could give zero stars, I would. This has been one of the worst rental experiences I’ve ever had. The apartment complex recently tried to charge me double rent for the upcoming month without any explanation. When I reached out for clarification, I was met with silence and deflection. The property itself is filthy — common areas are constantly dirty, and it’s clear that maintenance and cleanliness are not a priority here. Despite repeated complaints, nothing changes. My friend had an appointment with Kalee at the District of Cypress Waters to tour an apartment in person and not one of those self tours. She left him waiting for over 30 minutes. She emails him an hour later and said she had an emergency but never contacted him before she left. He asked me to schedule an appointment with her and Kalee did the same thing and used the same excuse. They are a bunch of flakes and liars at this place.
So this group owns the district at Cypress Waters and a few other apartment complexes... moved out not too long ago asked multiple times for them to review my apartment before I move out and they were too lazy to do so.. paid for a maid paid for a carpet cleaner which I would think some of that would be normal wear and terror after being there over two years.. but again too lazy to come inspect the apartment and walk me through it so that way if there's something I missed they wouldn't charge me.
