I was referred to Dr Mark Herman approx. 3 years ago and have been seen to regularly (every 6-12 months) or as may be necessary. Never have I met a doctor with such a pleasant manner who takes the time to discuss your situation and any relevant treatments necessary in such detail as we, the laymen, require. He is thorough, pleasant and detailed in his treatment of you, his patient. Amazing experience. We had few tests done for my husband with them. Effy from radiology was AMAZING!!! She made such a stressful appointment thousand times better for us. Kept us calm and was explaining everything throughout to make us feel comfortable. Dr Shaun Khanna was very helpful too. The clinic was very busy but the way the fromt desk people were handling calls, doctors and patients all together was amazing.
It is amazing that this centre has no access for wheelchairs or walkers in their toilets! Patients that use a walker or a wheelchair cannot get into the toilet! There is no space. How can patients be charged high fees when they don’t even have accessible toilets? These specialists see people with disabilities. They need to make sure they provide proper facilities! **EDIT** I revised my review score to a 3 because 1) Advara replied to the review and seemed to take my feedback on board and 2) Dr Shaundeep Sen is a amazing specialist. ------------ This review is directed at the proprietor of Renal Consulting Services (Advara Heartcare?), and for the benefit of prospective patients. The quoted fee for a first consultation is $495—the highest I’ve ever encountered for a specialist appointment.
