need wood? These guys are helpful and friendly. Their prices are usually within a few cents of Montgomery's in Warsaw. They have a decent selection of other things (paint, other household repair needs) and their prices are decent. Not as cheap as the big warehouse stores in the city but if you want to shop locally, Burt's is a good choice.
Burt's Lumber They are OK for your lumber needs. I find their prices to be higher than most places and they are not open on Sundays if you need lumber in a hurry. I would take my business else where.
Arrogant and Rude A very nice lumberyard, clean and organized with a great inventory BUT if you are NOT a contractor forget it - they are condescending to homeowners - especially female homeowners - I can't believe how rude they are - but it was obvious they weren't interested in my business
Burt's Lumber is Great I found Burt's to be helpful and courteous. I love driving into their warehouse and having the employees find and load everything into my vehicle. I stopped going to the "Big Box" stores in favor of this home-town environment. Prices are good too.
