Wow. Burt is a genius at repairing amps. Kind, thoughtful, easygoing and generous. I brought in a very high end amp, that was constantly shutting down. Burt solved it and fixed it at a fraction of the cost that most people out there would have ripped me off on. Would recommend anyone go to him with problems big and small.
This guy is a dick. Don’t waste your time. I don’t care how much he knows- his attitude and how he treats people is awful. Also a solution for simple things is not to just lecture people and tell them how incompetent they and tell them buy new equipment that he sells. Plenty of other amazing music and studio people in our area.
Burt did a fantastic job setting up my record player. He had all the parts I needed to get it working and playing beautifully again. I had the choice to buy it a needle online and call it a day but I had decided last year to boycott corporations like Amazon as much as possible. I would much rather contribute to a local expert. Didn't like the previous owner installed radio. Told Burt what I was looking for. He was able to fix all the mistakes the previous owner did and gave me all of what I was looking for. Glad I chose his store.
Burt is fantastic. Through the last few years he helped me with fixing a wrong that another local vendor messed up with my car stereo. That interaction was so positive that when it was time to upgrade my turntable and sound system, I went to him. His knowledge is unparalleled in the area. After two years with my turntable, something went wrong with it (manufacture issue), Burt went above and beyond to fix my turntable and returned it to me in better working order then when it was brand new.
