I would not recommend sam to anyone with anything more than a basic single occurrence event. I don't feel he is equipped to handle anything further. Sam comes across and is kind, concerned, confident, and educated. He was great to work with as far as scheduling and appearance. When it came to the real intense issues, he is not prepared in his career experience to help. Sam is very kind, easy to talk to, and easy to open up to. My husband and I feel completely comfortable every time we go and something that really stands out to us about Sam is that he never makes either one of us feel attacked or judged. You can see that he really does care about helping you improve your life and I have been quick to recommend him to others. I have had therapists in the past that felt a big aggressive or made me feel put down at times-never a problem with Sam. You're safe with him!
I only had three sessions with Sam and they didn't feel very productive. We had our first session, then he canceled the next, then showed up late to the following session. Today when I told him I was canceling our therapy sessions he literally responded with a thumbs up emoji (see screenshot). I actually couldn't believe it. To top it off, when our sessions ended he wouldn't say goodbye or vocalize any sort of farewell; the session would end and he would close his door. Sam is amazing! Very kind and understanding.
He is kind, humble and listens. He meets us where we're at and helps mediate between family. I have recommended him to friends and they have been so happy with him as well. Also, he has excellent and respectful business practices. I promise you will not be disappointed.
