Derek is a fantastic barber. Not a stylist, not a cosmetologist, but an actual barber. Love just coming in, having some good conversation, listening to some good music, and walking out looking outstanding. The best part is he gives you advice. I'm not a master barber, I don't know what I don't know. I thought I'd get one thing, he guided me to a much better option for my face and style. Derek is the best. Getting haircuts from him for almost 20 years and he consistently gives a sharp, technical cut. I've never had an issue and never been disappointed. He is also good, friendly guy and keeps a clean shop! Highly recommend!

Derek is the best barber in Baltimore. He cut my hair at Beatnik, and then Canton, and now here. He also just did my 4-year-old son’s first haircut. I have thick curly hair and he knows how to handle it properly. Through the years I’ve had medium/shorter hair combed straight back cut with clipper/shears and now have long hair. Derek’s been great.
