I am the owner of Burt Engineering PLLC, and I am very glad you are reading the reviews posted here. It seems one client was not satisfied with our service. The unfortunate fact of our time is that blogs and social media provide a forum for people to comment without having to provide facts. The project in question was likely the Michael's Store in Kirkland, which was stuck by an automobile in 2017. The damage to the wall was noted, analyzed, and considered very minor. Burt Engineering was hired after a vehicle ran into a concrete wall. He showed up and made an expensive report, but failed to even notice the crack in the wall. When I asked him about his gross oversight, it was plain to see he was not good at figuring things out. But he is good at writing reports and charging money though.
Had to do some upgrades and permitting on my property Cornell was very professional, followed through and very reasonable. Top-notch, and would highly recommend Burt Engineering!!!
