James has been phenomenal to work with. He is a one stop shop for permitting through the city and also with the HOA with the upmost professionalism. Communication and consistent every step of the way from start to finish. On top of that the deck of our dreams was built. The attention to detail was fully noticed and out did all expectations we had. We would highly recommend. Words truly can’t justify the craftsmanship put forth.
James (Bursey Construction) did a superb job on our back door steps/expanded stair landing. He was meticulous and communicative throughout the process, especially regarding permit and city inspection status. Our back stair area's improvement in look, quality and sturdiness is more than what we had hoped for; see finished work vs. the "before". We would definitely like to work with James again. Highly recommend!
Working with James was a great experience. Had others come over for an estimate, ALL of the others didn’t want to,or even listen to the idea my wife and myself had! They were only interested in selling me what they wanted to do! As soon as James came over, he didn’t want to go inside my house and talk, he wanted to go to the deck and talk about what we wanted, he listened and came back with ideas! He is very easy to work with and he went out of his way to provide options that would work with some constraints we faced. I would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone. He truly cares about his customer. I have worked with many contractors having owned my home for more than 20 years and he is my favorite!
I absolutely recommend James! He built us a large two-level deck that is gorgeous! He gave us exactly what we wanted, even BETTER. He listened to what we envisioned and regularly checked in with us throughout the build. He is polite, professional, clean, and detail-oriented. I couldn’t be happier with the end result!
