This is by far the worst option you could choose for mental health care. Their office completely fails at managing prescription refills — my refill was not sent to the pharmacy twice, causing unnecessary stress. Even worse, they don’t offer a phone line to talk to anyone directly, only frustrating message options. Waiting 24 to 72 hours for a simple refill is absolutely insane when the medication should not be interrupted!!! I was barely a patient a month here. I started my mental health journey a few years ago and my previous Dr. left for maternity leave without notice. I felt completely abandoned and found Burnstein through Google, desperate to find help. All seemed well the first 2 appointments until I received a massive bill for $5,000 for a cheek swab testing. if i could give a 0 star review i would. this is my first time being recommended for a psychiatrist and will probably be my last after how i was treated. i have been on 2 medications for the last year and have felt fine but my therapist told me i should see a psychiatrist. after seeing dr.burnstein, i actually felt like someone was going to help me. he prescribed me xans. and i was worried it was going to mix with my other medications. finally almost after a week later, i have my memory back and have been scared and been cry... read more
Great doctor!
Some of these negative reviews would be hilarious if they weren't so sad. Too many people don't understand the difference between a psychiatrist and a therapist. Dr. Burnstein is the former and I can say, from experience, he is one of the best; There's not a single doctor I trust more. Dr. Burnstein's psychiatric knowledge and judgment are unmatched.
