My husband had cateract surgery today. Everybody at the hospital were very friendly and helpful. The cafe is excellent run by very nice helpful people. Everything was excellent. The hospital was very clean. We got free parking on sites off moore Street.
Looked after my daughter very well pre and post surgery. Spoke to 2 nurses and they were lovely. Nice atmosphere. Just the DT (Diversional Therapist) needs to shut patients doors when discussing confidential information. Other than that i was very pleased with the hospital.
Had a fantastic experience with my day surgery with Dr Mandana Master and Anaesthetist Dr Div Kumar. Aftercare nursing was super too! I felt comfortable, and very well taken care of. Thank you!
I had my knee surgery at Burnside Hospital on 23/09/2025, and my experience was outstanding from start to finish. The anaesthesiologist, Dr Martin Tyson, was exceptionally good; very calm, understanding, and careful. He took the time to clearly explain the anaesthesia process to us, answered all our questions, and made both me and my family feel reassured and safe before the surgery.
