Burnie's specializes in colored semiprecious stones and one-of-a-kind custom designed jewelry. They also have lots of rocks and fossils for decoration or for the geologically inclined. If they don't have it, they can get it, and you won't find more knowledgable or caring folks anywhere in Madison, or the whole state for that matter!
New owners Burnie's is under new ownership, but they haven't skipped a beat. I've had several pieces of jewelry repaired to replace missing stones, and their prices are reasonable with quality work. They also offer worthwhile classes.
