On July 4th my husband and I traveled to San Saba to see his uncle who is on hospice care and when we arrived the town was experiencing flash flooding,all over the hill country. We had to excavate the uncle from his home and I called to rent him a room where we were staying at the I spoke with Rhonda who manages both hotels Dofflemyer and Burnham’s in town. Amazing experience! This place saved our vacation. We got to town only for our rental to fall through. Panicked we started calling hotels. Maddie picked up right away and said “come over we will find you a place to stay.” Within 20 minutes we were in our room. Maddie was super helpful and easy to get a hold of, not to mention she was super sweet. We will definitely be back.
