Total failure of basic communication. Don't use Burnet unless you plan to double check all of their work. If that's you then you don't need a title company.
RecommendedBurnet Title, and specifically Bonnie Anderson and Nicole Woods, were professional, accommodating and expeditious in our new home closing! We were in and out of their offices in under an hour with complete confidence in their accuracy. Closed on a townhome this May 2019. Sloppy service as we didn't receive the closing documents on time, the company blamed FedEx/UPS. Never transferred our correct address to the respective parties and insulted us with a $50 check after we paid $6k in closing.
Professional, thorough service. They have helped me close several times, personally, and have closed some of the most complex files I have presented to them as a real estate agent.
I am the seller and closed on a house with Burnet today. When all was said and done the buyers received my keys and I ended up with a business check for the house which my husband found out when he went to deposit it could take up to 7 days to clear. So they are in the house and I have no proceeds only a hope that eventually the check will clear.....and I paid Burnet for this? Haven't they heard of wire transfers or cashiers checks.
Working with Burnet Title was such a great experience. My clients were very happy with how smooth and quick the closing process was. They did a great job for my clients.
