I was connected to Burne through a contractor that I used for a prior project and am planning to use again for an ADU. I went with Burne due to the personal nature of the recommendation and the competitive price they sent. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend them less. Terrible experience with this company. They took months (over 6) to finish our remodeling plans and ignored all inquiries regarding the status.The failure to do anything (or respond) delayed our renovation for months. During construction there were some changes so we paid for additional assistance from the engineer which we felt was appropriate. I was in a pickle, where time was of the essence..... my engineer of record would not answer my calls or get back to me, so I called Lori Burne at Burne Engineering to assist me with a detail change on my foundation plan.
