Do not come here if you can avoid it, whether for emergency or scheduled services. You will genuinely leave sicker than you came in. I found a sign indicating they are failing 5/6 safety indicators. It is dirty, understaffed and under resourced. The building is old and legitimately held together by duct tape. The staff are overworked and have no resources leading to ineffective care, as well as rude and unhelpful staff and doctors. Lori the nurse with the bright pink shoes from the psych ward has terrible bedside manner. I've witnessed her yell at a patient and making remarks at patients without seeing the whole picture/assumptions without remorse. She likes to boast about being a nurse for several years but she needs re-training or something 'cause whatever she's on seems 'dated. Maybe she should give security guard a go instead? I am just disgusted how already health care is a game, your not taken serious unless you seizing, bleeding out, or pushing till u get a test that finally shows what’s wrong, but for a 24/7 system having people of various size, shapes, conditions that standard chairs are completely impractical! A joke in the name of “emergency” hospitals. The staff at the Triage is rude. The wait time is absolutely ridiculous. The doctors & nurses wont care even if a person is dying in front of them and would only call you when its your turn.
