Not very impressed with the rude treatment received by male care aids changing my mom. I was told to give her "privacy" while they change her over saturated daiper. I am her daughter who took care if her for 2 weeks, 24/7! If it wasn't for me you wouldn't know that she's half paralized and is unable to roll herself over!! Take some people skills training, learn how to treat patient families.
Our gratitude to all the paramedics and the doctors who are always working hard and never forget to be the most caring !!They are super kind. I had them six times for my son within a month. Burnaby hospital is doing great job. Each one who is working there is helpful. Volunteers also happily guide you. Keep up the good work guys!!
My father was brought to Emerg -- the Emerg doctor called me in Ontario to ask a few questions about dad. I was told they would run tests and I could call back a few hours later. Trying to get through was a horrible experience with no information whatsoever forthcoming after being transferred several times. When dad was transferred to palliative care a few days later his care was superb - truly 10/10 care - the nurses and doctors in that Unit are top notch!!❤️
-5 stars... Burnaby General Hospital ( BGH ) discharged me while I was still seizing and I regained awareness in a jail cell with my disability band on one arm, hospital band on my other, and fresh scabs and bruises from being taken down after discharged while seizing due to the negligence of this hospital & staff... I REALLY HOPE YOUR LOVED ONES NEVER END UP HERE. Would post photos for evidence but too graphic for Google.
