I was seen by this doctor in May 2023 for what I thought was hyperparathyroid disease. She told me I didn’t have it. She refused to even acknowledge that I had Hypercalcemia. I followed up with Mayo’s endo dept. There were conflicting opinions from their team, but ultimately I was told after FHH was ruled out that I did have it but the surgeon wanted to wait until they could see it on imaging. Lynn Burmeister was recommended after my doctor retired and I feel for patients that see her. Over a ZOOM appointment she had lowered my dosage of thyroid medicine without blood work, the end result sent me spiraling into my early grave until I found an Endocrinologist that actually listened and did their job. I unfortunately didn’t question my dosage on thyroid medications until a whole year later when I couldn’t physically get out of bed. Why would I question a specialist in this field? Blew me off twice when I told her I had painful lumps in my neck. The University of mn ultra sound checked my neck for about 20 minutes. They biopsied me and found a tumor I had that she said was nothing again and was malignant. I had enough went to Mayo and they ultra sounded my neck for 2 hrs and 45 minutes. I had 4 more tumors . .
