It was interesting that we had 5 projects requiring a plumber in our newly purchased home. For two larger jobs there was no charge for the quote and were done quite quickly, however, there is 3 remaining jobs that we've tried to get a quote or estimate on six separate occasions only to finally get told we will be charged for a quote. That is not what we would deem anywhere close to reasonable customer service. Think carefully about who you might call.
