Love this place, it was recommended to me and I’m so glad I tried it out. Amazing food and very friendly, attentive staff.
I’m done trying Burma Love restaurants. The one we went in SF tasted super bland. And this one Palo Alto was extremely salty. The plate they gave us for sharing food also smelled like toilet/dirty damped towel/raw egg. They also couldn’t serve food correctly, the table next to us warned them about their food allergy and they first messed up the food, and when the customer reminded them about said allergy, instead of remaking the dish, the kitchen staff just picked the pieces out of the dish. I love this location mostly because their cocktail menu is FANTASTIC. The banana cocktail is insanely good (bananas 4 burma), so is the pina colada (forget the name). The food is also good hear but maybe not the best Burmese overall. The tea leaf salad is massive and delicious. One of the better atmosphere Burmese locations and definitely the best cocktail spot. Food is probably a 4 out of 5.
Super flavorful and just the right amount of spicy. Beautiful decor and ambience. Excellent service.
