Very frustrating experience. I was scheduled for a 7:15 AM colonoscopy and arrived at 7:00 AM as instructed. At 7:15 I was told the procedure was canceled because the anesthesiologist saw I had an upcoming cardiology appointment for a stress test and echocardiogram and considered me a risk. This appointment had been scheduled for about a month, yet this issue was only discovered at the exact time of my procedure. Anyone who has had a colonoscopy knows the prep is not easy.
