My mom went in this weekend, she had a gift card. She was so excited to try and get matched for foundations and the girl working the counter there said “I’m not good at that” and refused to help. Okay ?? Then why are you working at a makeup store ??? Not a fan of customer service at this location. I’ve been at this location myself a couple times and received the same treatment. If I could give this store zero stars I would. Every time I’ve ever been to this location I’ve never been greeted, or asked if I needed help. While 2-3 associates stand behind the counter talking amongst themselves. They refuse to help when asking for assistance, customer service at an all time low.
I experienced completely nonexistent customer service during my visit today. During my 20-minute visit, there were six employees working and only two other customers, yet I was never greeted or acknowledged. Four employees were congregated in an aisle talking among themselves and ignored me completely, even after making eye contact. When an employee walked past, my smile was met with a glare, and I wasn't even greeted when checking out at the register. The staff's behavior felt highly unprofessional and unwelcoming.
While we go to Ulta for most of our products including perfume and have been in the store multiple times. Today was a visit unlike one we’ve had before. I get greeting customers and asking if they need help but the whole time my daughter and I were in the store we were asked by multiple people if we needed helped and was literally followed by the lady who initially greeted us to begin with.
