He refinished a family piece for me. Built buy my great grandfather his great great grandfather. And strengthened and cleaned it. Now a piece of history built and redone 100 years apart. Extremely proud and happy!
Have had a couple custom pieces made -- an entertainment center and a gaming table. Easy to work with, you can either give him exact specs or a general idea and let him go wild, either way you're gonna get a high-quality piece of furniture that's built to last! Well worth the money IMO.

Really difficult to articulate how impressive this guy is. His woodworking abilities are phenomenal but what makes him a 5-star artist is his absolute dedication to turning out not just a good product but an exceptional one. His design skills are first rate, his attention to detail preternatural. He won't stop until it's just what you want -- AND HE LISTENS so he knows what that is.
Derek was extremely easy to work with and was very knowledgeable about the project and process. He thought outside of the box to create a custom “hidden door” for our 100 year old home and the finished product looks like it has been there the entire time!
