Dr. Burkey treated my plantar fashitis maybe 10 years ag with orthotics. Took care of the problem for 10 years. I should have had new ones made and I didn’t and tomorrow I go back to him for new ones. He has an excellent repair with patients. Very knowledgeable
Plan on long wait in office, but surgical skills are wonderful! Uses conservative measures when possible.
Dr. Burkey is phenomenal!!! I haven't encountered a western medical practitioner with his level of bedside manner in a long, long time. He is extremely jovial and it is obvious he loves what he does. He is also excellent at what he does. His experience and education are apparent. He also values patient education and explains anything and everything you want to know. You are a breath of fresh air Dr. Burkey! Keep up the good work. :)

Be prepared to wait a long time beyond your scheduled appointment time to see the doctor. I finally threw in the towel and walked out. Will not go back.

I had 2 hammer toes corrected with surgery and pins. I experienced no pain during nor afterwards. I may be different from others but I am already to have Dr Burkey do two more feet surgeries for me,

The office in hays is not as up to date as it should be. My exam room ,the had a chair very old and worn out. The exam chair i sat on the plastic cover was old enough it was yellow badly. He is very nice takes his time with you but i wold like to see a more steral office even though its not used everyday. His clerical staff unorganized to me. But nice. The instruments were in a tool chest like in your garage..he is over worked for the amount of patients he saw.
