Burkett's was founded by former owner Sam Burkett in 1981. In 2019 Sam sold the business to Thor, an acquaintance through residential construction. Sam felt Thor would be a good fit to take over the company when he was ready to retire. Sam still fabricates our duct wok in house, and provides us with new wisdom everyday.

I cannot recommend Burkett’s enough! When my furnace unexpectedly stopped working overnight on the COLDEST day, they went above and beyond to ensure my family was taken care of. They arrived under 2 hours after my call, offered a free diagnostic, and quickly identified the issue. I was so impressed when they immediately express-ordered the part needed for the repair and temporarily had the furnace working in the meantime. Jordan and Alex from Burkett's did a great job (for a very reasonable price)! Both of them were very friendly and cleaned up after themselves. They replaced my very outdated furnace with a high efficiency one and added central air, cold air returns upstairs and an additional supply. It was not a simple nor easy job. In fact, another company actually turned the job down! Dave, the owner, personally stopped by several times to check on the progress and was super friendly to me, my children and even my dogs! 😊
I would not recommend this place if I have used them to replace two furnaces as my house is a duplex furnace one did not get finished for days. They explained to me on the first day that it was because they couldn’t get the old furnace out but yet my ring camera shows that it’s been sitting out back in my backyard since 11:30 AM .. 4:30 PM that Friday comes around and They left me for the weekend with 30° weather stating “they tried there best “… they were supposed to be back Monday at 8 AM yet 8:30 AM I called Dave because ... read more
