This company do not care about their residents or property. Elevator been broken in 2001 bay drive since October and it’s june now with no care about their residents, no updates, no help, and their only solution is to move out carrying all your stuff down flights of stairs. They don’t help by lowering the rent instead they raise the rent while elevator is broken and if you don’t like it then move out. Burkett companies has tenants sign an auto renewing lease for their residential rentals, which auto renews if 60 day notice is not given. The lease is 38 pages and he banks on his tenants not reading it. The landlord does not say a word to you prior to the notification period, and once your in the 60 day period tells you your lease has auto renewed at a higher rate and you have to pay the 2 month break lease fee if you want to leave at its 1 year end date. I have been renting an office space from Mr. Burkett for a few years now. The staff is always helpful and reliable. The same can be said about the maintenance crew. Issues are always addressed in a timely manner. The building is well kept and clean. I highly recommend them.

Thank you to The Burkett Companies for the excellent customer service. The entire process from application to lease was quick and easy. Very professional and courteous management office. Overall a pleasant experience and I have a great apartment.
