It's is very hit and miss. We are paying big money for the facilities and I tried four time and got one decent massage. The last time I was there, I had an incident in the steam room with another man staring at me and ****** himself. The staff did nothing about it. Very sad. The best luck I've had was on Craigs List Therapeutic section with trained therapist who have come to my home. You will have to sift through the smutt, but I have great luck there. David
This place is fabulous. It is definitely worth the money. Go early to enjoy the sauna, steam room or spa! Don't forget to mention if you are celebrating a birthday, I was given a complimentary enhancement to my service, such a nice surprise!
This is my favorite Burke Williams location. It's roomy, the staff are excellent, the amenities are great and there's ample free parking. It's worth the drive to Torrance.
I have been going there for ten months now, unfortunately because I signed up for an annual membership so it is use or lose. The first time there of course was great, service, etc then out of the reminder 9 visits 5 have been just flat out ridiculous. One the towels in two different locations had mascara on them, which makes you wonder how clean they really are since the second location in front of the sauna had this towel rolled up into the ice tray, which means someone had to look at it and still place it there. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. I attempted to get my fiancee a gift card for the holidays. Their online site didn't work. Their automated phone system didn't work either. When I finally got a hold of a 'customer care' rep, I requested they waive their "$5 shipping fee" for the inconvenience. THEY REFUSED. This place is just a name , there is no one hour massage here , they charged me $105 for 45 min massage , plus the massage was a cheap quality no different then $50 massage you can get in other places. NEVER AGAIN!!
I've been to 2 other BWs but this is my first time in Sherman Oaks-Not a happy camper there., . I made it a point that I arrived early when they opened. But its soo silly because I did arrive when they opened and it was already packed. They booked so many people at the same time slots. The Sauna, Steam Room and Jacuzzi were constantly full.
