I went to Burke Rehab in Armonk NY after having a total knee replacement (TKR). I'm not sure how many people out there have had a TKR but believe me it hasn't been that much fun. But, and there is always a but, I was extremely fortunate to get into Burke. The staff there is fantastic, helpful and friendly. I was also very lucky to connect with my Physical Therapist Patrick Delacruz. He is a wonderful person, very professional therapist and very knowledgable about the workings of the human knee. Extremely poor experience. This was particularly disappointing since I used Burke before for knee issues and was satisfied. My most recent experience is less than desired. Had an experience with sciatic pain called with a medical script looking for an appointment. I was told that as soon as my insurance was verified they would get back to me later that day to schedule an appointment even though they already had my insurance information on file. No call back.
