After being frustrated and told by many other services that they couldn’t do the job right away and it would take 3 days to get anyone to come and replace our hot water tank, I called Burke Mountain Plumbing. Richard said he could come and take a look. We got serviced right away, he came over and was done in 2 hours, installation, removal of our old water tank. No hassles. Richard was very helpful. We had a small leak in our poly-b pipes, he came to fix it within a half hour, and noticed we had a leaky hot water tank, which he replaced the next day. Fair in price, quick to help and did a great job - he is our go-to for any plumbing job.
Very bad experience. The plumber js arrogant , rude and gouges on the price. The owner increased the price on spot for being Sunday (no mention of jt before coming) and then insulted snd blamed me for not having common sense to know that Sunday price will be 1.5 times.
TL;DR: Richard Zhao is so thoughtful, helpful, and smart, and went way above and beyond to majorly save the day! He not only fixed a gas leak, but he also was observant and cared enough to let me know he noticed another issue. The water heater was lacking power (the blue indicator light was off). He showed me and troubleshooted with me and found out the outlet it was plugged into was not working. He gave the solution of using an extension cord until I could get an electrician fix the outlet.
