My dog Penny is a rescue. She is 9 1/2 years old. Getting her nails clipped has been a trauma for her. At Burke Forest Vet she is still scared but they work their magic on her! Thank you BFV!!

I've been taking my dog here for years. They always go above and beyond when taking care of him. It was my dog's 11th birthday yesterday and he ended up having to visit twice in the same day. I mentioned it was his birthday during the first visit, and during the second visit they gave him a cupcake bandana after he finished his blood-work and a bag full of goodies with a balloon as we were checking out. It's kindness like this that makes me love taking my dog here! Thanks for caring so much about me and my dog.
I can't rave about Burke forest Vet Clinic enough! Dr. Bowles is kind, genuine, professional and explained everything! After calling to make an appointment for a wellness exam they took us back to check her general health out and found she had been bitten. They took her and kept her on the spot, told me what would have to happen, gave me an estimate and came in much lower. The staff is as nice and helpful as the doctors! Friendly and capable Doc has an equally wonderful staff in his practice in Springfield. Although I have moved from the area I do not hesitate to recommend Burke Forest Veterinary Clinic to anyone who wants excellent and compassionate care for their loved animals (and, dare I say humane+ regard for the pets' human sponsors).
Very friendly and efficient staff. Great place to take your pets for care.
