No organization and rude employees. You have to self advocate! I’ve never been to any doctor, therapist or anything in the medical field where appointment times were not given and it’s on a ‘first come, first serve’ basis, regardless if it’s the first appointment or not. After a week with no call to schedule my first appointment I had to call and ask why. I dealt with Burke for over two years, by way of trying to get help for my son, who is ASD. I have never seen an organization do so much while doing so little. Waited for over a year to get a formal evaluation and diagnosis, despite already having a diagnosis from elsewhere. In the interim, they were willing to give him medications and nothing else (for reference, best practice is accepted to be behavioral therapy first, and only resorting to drug therapy if necessary- wish I had known this, because they won't tell you). When they assessed me they were proffesional and efficient.
After having a psychotic break, they have been helping me get back on track with medication and helpful guidance.
