SCAM I purchased bar stools in mid October, but now 8 months later I do not have them. They have not returned most of my calls, and when I do get a response it is vague. I have filed a complaint with the BBB. DO NOT SHOP AT BOND DINETTES!!!!!
Scam! - Should Be In Jail and Will Be If I Have Anything To Say About It I wish I could give ZERO stars. We ordered 4 counter stools in early November 2009 and it's now January 2010, 12 weeks later, no stools, no date on when they'll arrive. Bond Dinettes Inc is THE WORST DO NOT SHOP HERE. I have had the same experience as many of the other raters. I ordered six chairs in July, thinking I was in plenty of time to have the chairs by the holidays. Well, it is December 30 and I still do not have the chairs. Believe it or not, even though the chairs arrived at the store this week (at least this is what they tell me), they won't deliver them until they have a full enough truck, even though I have been waiting for six months!!!! Bond Dinettes Inc is AWFUL! If you've ever tried calling, you know it's impossible to reach anyone. The "accounting office" never calls back. I finally had someone named April call me. She tried to do her best, but the guy that works there (older man with very bad attitude and poor customer service skills) told me I wasn't buying from "Bob's" and that it would take time. Bond Dinettes Inc is the WORST!!! Heed all the warnings here! The Courant did an article on them in January too; BBB rating of an F. I really wish I had read the Courant article, so I could have avoid our 19 week nightmare to get our island. And 19 weeks to learn that our stools will likely never arrive. Never, never, never again!!!
Bond Dinettes Inc is getting a bad rap I purchased a kitchen table and stools in June 2009. The gentleman told me it would take 2 to three weeks. After waiting one month, I returned to the store and inquired about the status. The owner first told me they are waiting on the stools and wouldn't be able to call the manufacturer until the following Monday as they aren't open on weekends. St. of CT...shut Bond down! I ordered 4 stools on 2/1/09 and was told they'd be ready in 4-6 weeks. It is now 2 weeks shy of 6 months and I don't have them. They told me the manufacturer completed them at the end of March but had to wait till he got a full truck load to ship them to Newington. I called a couple of times and kept getting the same story. Terrible Customer Service I ordered a dinette set May 3, and it still has not arrived, I have emailed twice with no response and once I left a phone message and they never called me back. I made another call and finally got a person who said they checked on the order and that it was not in yet but never offered to make a call and find out the expected arrival. Five Star Product and Service! What a jewel of a shopping experience I enjoyed at Bonds. With a kitchen table falling apart, it was time to invest in a solid furniture set. After visiting several other stores, I visited Bonds.
