We had the crispy halibut and grilled tuna tacos! WOW! Excellent. The customer service was top notch. So glad I stumbled upon this local gem.
This restaurant is excellent. I have been both a consumer and cook of seafood here in the NW for most of my life, and TBFH does everything right. If they aren’t, they belong in the discussion of one of the best in the area for fish tacos, sandwiches (the lobster roll is a little spendy, but well worth it!), fish & chips, and the chowder is damn good! I’m an admitted chowder fanatic (read: snob), and while I think theirs was a tad too thick, the flavor was great. I’m lucky this place is so close to home.
The beer battered halibut was good. Raisins in the coleslaw was a surprise, not a good one. The bread to lobster ratio for the lobster roll was 2:1, not impressive for paying over 20 bucks for about a 10oz sandwich. It was a decent attempt to create a New England lobster shack feel. I would go back to try the tacos which looked good.
I would put their salmon cesar salad up against any high end restaurant. Perfectly cooked salmon filet atop fresh tossed greens.
