Horrible judge. Is it fair and ok to go "off record" and put his morals on me?
I observed a trial in Judge Burgess’s court. I was extremely impressed. He seems to be a master of upholding the letter and spirit of the law, giving both sides exactly what truth and justice owed them. He was very patient and courteous, and didn’t hesitate to slow down to think through his decisions, though he tried to avoid inconveniencing anyone when he could help it.
