This company is a slumlord. I lived at this property for a couple of years and it was fine. Then the owner sold it to Burgess Management Group. This place has gone down ever since the sale. The property is no longer maintained. They are nice and friendly when taking your money but if you have any issues they couldn't care less. If you are looking for a place to stay and it says property of Burgess Management Group, save yourself the headache and look elsewhere.
706 Watkins St was available for rent. The management group continued to accept rental applications & charged $40 an application fee even after the property was rented. I completed an application Friday afternoon 3/26/21 and the property was already rented that morning. A staff member confirmed today 3/29/21. First impression within the office, the staff was more intrested in our family submitting the rental application fee than granting information about the process of or property details.
