I know this company and Steve, the installation manager, is a real con man and con man. Steve buys Trane air conditioning systems for $3,000-5,000 and sells them to customers for $8,000-18,000 at exorbitant prices. He encourages his staff to sell unnecessary parts, even when they are not defective, promising high commissions to generate more money for the company. He was knowledgeable, professional, polite, explained what he was doing( I have an auto mechanics background ground so I understood 96% of his description).He is a credit to his company that other techs should emulate. I get a letter in the mail saying I'm due for my annual 18 point percision tune up. It's the first time in 4 years since I have heard from this company!!! I worked in AC business. This isn't how you run a business. 4 years to contact someone one, is unacceptable

Wow. After reviewing this non-customers history. We have not been there since 2002!! Letters (not a god given right) were sent in 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009 (twice), 2010, 2011 (twice), 2012, 2014 (twice), 2017, 2020 and 2022. This is a highly illegitimate comment/complaint that should be viewed as such.
WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO ETHICS AND INTEGRITY? ******* sold and installed a new Trane AC unit 2 years and 1 week ago and justI paid $100 for a maintenance call on 5/27/22. The unit stopped cooling over July 4th weekend. The Occupant of the home is elderly with mobility issues. I called ******* and talked to answering service and requested emergency service. Never heard a word back... Occupant's grandson vacuumed out the drain line and it seemed to be working, thankfully. I called again for service after the holiday to make sure ... read more

Unfortunately we were not able to take care of this customer in a timely and accurate manner. It is a rare occasion where we do not live up to our customers expectations. Our goal is to never leave a customer down, and do what it takes to do so. We did speak to her and apologized for the mishap.
Burgess Heating and Air was responsive, accommodating and delivered on the expectations. There was a slight communication gap on a part that was needed, but they quickly corrected the issue and got the job done for us. Akil was very professional and informative. He made sure to explain the repair, and made suggestions on maintaining the unit. His attention to detail was awesome. I don't know how he kept the constant smile on his face with the humidity that made it feel close to 100 degrees.
Akil at Burgess heating and Air did a fantastic replacing our AC micro pure bulb.

terrible experience, bought a house where previous owner had purchased a new unit from burgess within last 2 years. had them initially come upon and do a service, nice tech very good service, approx 6 months later ac quits, first i think thermostat and then i go and check and pan under unit is full of water, i check drain line it appears clear, not an ac guy so have no idea. i call burgess, the only people who installed and serviced this unit, woman on phone very nice schedules someone same day, they would diagnosis for 99 d... read more

In response to customer complaint. Our first service with Mr. ***** was on 6/30/2020. This was for a maintenance and filter change. Second visit was on 2/11/2011 which was for customer complaint of a blank thermostat. Our technician cleaned out the drain line and auxiliary pan. Charges where $99 for the diagnostic and $255 for drain line and auxiliary pan cleaning totaling $354. Third visit was on 3/3/21 customer complaint was system froze up the night before.
