If Mr. McCowen is ever appointed your public defender “Run As Fast As You Can”! Ask the court for someone else. This attorney who says in his bio all the right reasons he is a criminal attorney is a fraud, he doesn’t care and doesn’t listen he will allow your case to drag on and on. Once a prosecutor himself he just lets the prosecutor do whatever they want and never fights for his clients and will let your case go on for years. He doesn’t know the meaning of speedy trial!
