ugh, worst service ever – This place needs to clean up their act. I was fancying a cupcake one recent saturday afternoon so I walked into the establishment in question, marched right up to the counter with a smile and waited to be served. There were no less than six staff members behind the counter sporting sour apple grimaces on surly faces. EXPENSIVE AND BELOW AVERAGE FOOD – This restaurant is WAY WAY WAY too hyped up. First, it took forever for me to get seated when the restaurant was EMPTY. The waiter was not attentive. The cupcake was TINY and DRY and $2. I could make better cupcakes myself out of a BOX. The burger was small and $6 with no fries. I could have been more satisfied at McDonalds, and I don't eat at McDonalds.

Okay, but the atmosphere's a little gross – We had lunch and cupcakes here. The restaurant is not cozy; it's more like a snack bar, and right across the street from a parking lot. Good Burgers, Not So Sweet Service – Whoever heard of cupcakes and burgers coming in together? Apparently this is the place to be for such a combination. The cupcakes are huge but aren't as sweet or tasty as one might think. Surprisingly the burgers are decent but they seem to be overpriced a tad. Not worth venturing out for if you ask me.
Eating at Burgers & Cupcakes is like the home version of "Hells Kitchen" the reality show... – for whatever reason the restaurant was extremely understaffed. There was only one waitress for about 15 tables. The counter person Robin was the best worker in the whole joint. An unexpected suprise – So on my week long vacation in New York, I was on the look out for cupcakes. Magnolia's was dissapointing and My Favorite Dessert Co. was alright. My friend and I made the wrong turn looking for the large camera store in the same area and I saw the sign for Burgers and Cupcakes. The restaurant name piqued my interest but the large sign "Say you hate B*sh and get a free cupcake" was the clencher. Free cupcakes and anti-B*sh equals a 10 in my book.
Good Burgers, not so good cupcakes. – I went with two friends on a Thursday evening, not crowded, plenty of tables. I got a beef patty with cheddar cheese and grilled onions. We shared an order of fries. Then we each got cupcakes. I rarely eat red meat but was in the mood that night and the burger didn't disappoint. Incredible cupcakes – So-so service, above average taste but below average size on the burgers, very nice staff ... but I'll keep going back for the cupcakes. My chocolate-with-vanilla-frosting selection was absolutely unbelievable ... the best cupcake I've ever had.
