We had an emergency water main burst today (which is just a few days shy of Christmas), and Alan worked almost five hours overtime while balancing his other appointments to get our lives back in order. I would not recommend this company to anyone at all! I am a Filipino, a minority who do not know anything about plumbing. This company charged me over $570. to change my shower drain. I wrote them a check for the full price. When my husband woke up, he told me that I was over priced. When I went to work in the hospital at night, my coworkers in the hospital told me that I was being taken advantage of. This make me unhappy! What a shock. You always expect the worst when calling a plumber, but the guy who came out from Burfitt was nothing short of fantastic! I've been pressured by service people before, but there were no up-sells and I never once felt uncomfortable about the price. I would definitely recommend.
No one likes to have to call a plumber. No one likes spending money on this kind of unforeseen maintenance. When feeling like that, these are the guys to call. They are informative and will work to save you money.
Why? Because instead of gouging me on the price, they found a way to get my job done cheaper and gave me several options. Very Pleased!
Great Service, Work, and would highly recommend. – Just wanted to say Thank You! I am very pleased with the work that was done at my house. I had a drain cleaning company one of those ROOTER outfits clean my drain line from the house out and they said it needed to be replaced. Wham, Bam...Thanks, man... – Called on a Monday (probably a busier day for plumbers, I'd think) asking for a quote to install a toilet and a "how soon can it be done" inquiry. Was put on hold for about 2 minutes and was pleased to hear "$149, and someone can be out there within 1-4 hours". Pretty simple stuff! They were at my place an hour later. The actual cost turned out to be $99 more to replace the rusted/crusted up bolts from the flange. I thought that $99 seemed a bit steep, but I wasn't really psyched to do the work m... read more
Don't call them! – These guys refuse to give you any idea of their pricing schedule over the phone, then they charge you a fee to come to your house to give an estimate, and then their estimates are incredibly high and not based on any measure they are willing to disclose (i.e. by the hour or type of job.) We called them to put in a sink. They wouldn't tell us what they charge over the phone (evidently they don't charge by the hour or the type of job- it's a mystery.)
