I haven't been there since my daughter's wedding shower 6 years ago but I love it there!! I do miss the skating rink though!! It should make a come back!! �
I live 20 miles south of Bloomington and booked a shelter at Burdette Park for a family picnic. The staff was friendly. The shelter was perfect (clean, air conditioned, plenty of nice tables and chairs, grill and running water available on site) and very reasonably-priced. There were activities for all ages (swimming, tennis, fishing, playground) and the whole park is lovely! I highly recommend Burdette Park as a venue for any family, business or organization event. What a gem!
We had a family reunion here on Saturday and it was an amazing experience! The cabin shelter houses were extremely clean and air conditioned. It was a great place to eat and talk! My husband took our girls to play tennis on the courts there, which were super nice. And the kids played at the park area. We spent several hours at the pool, which was bigger than I ever expected. It is fun to go and see what's new at the park !!!
My family rented a shelter for the day and we had the best time! The facilities were very clean and the park is just beautiful. There were many activities and a good time was had by all. Definitely booking something in the future here!
Loved the kids area and the spray park. Was very relaxing.
It's an awesome place for kids to have fun. But I think that if your not using the yellow tubs you shouldn't be able to hold them until your ready to use them again.

The bathrooms are horrible at pool. Half broken. Never fill toilet paper or paper towels to wash hands. Complained to manager several times last summer. Guess this summer won't be any different. Went today and was the same way. Nice pool, but atrocious bathroom facilities.
