I had two wisdom teeth removed with local anaesthetic. I felt such immense pain I needed more anaesthetic administered during the procedure. I saw the tooth that caused me so much pain coming out and took the dentist so long to extract, and the large amount of gum and nerve that was attached to it. Turns out I had a hooked wisdom tooth and this dentist had absolutely no idea how to extract it so he ripped out my nerve and now still 3 years later half my tongue is numb.
