I heard (and tasted) about this business from visiting friends who had Buona Cucina's balsamics and olive oils on their dinner table. Very personal service and really an experience for tasting. It was fun and I took home some tasty bottles of oil and vinegar.
What fun my husband and I had here exploring exotic (to us) oils and vinegars! The owner was very generous with her time, explaining what we were tasting and making some recommendations. We came home with an oil and some balsamic vinegars and even some recipes that sound amazing! Can't wait to take my daughters back in next time!
Buona Cucina is a wonderful store with excellent products and customer service. I recently messed up a shipping order, which they fixed right away and it was probably the best customer service call I've had in years. Our family has tried many of the products and all of them are reorders for us. It's a must go when we are in Erie. They let you test products when in store so you know you will like what you buy and they help by showing you complimentary products and recipes. The balsamic pearls were especially fun. First time here, but not last! Friendly service. Sample before you buy. Unique flavors of quality olive oil and balsamic vinegar. So much more. Suggest you stop before you entertain. Food enhancers, pasta, even biscotti! Very reasonable on prices, too. Definitely will take food to next level. I was gifted pure maple balsamic. Imagine the possibilities!
I was looking for a gift for my mother-in-law and Dorothy was super helpful. The store smelled amazing and the gift basket we put together was perfect!
